Tailgating and the Outdoors: How I Get My Game On
Good tailgating starts 3 to 4 hours before the big game and can sometimes come back to a post game celebration. I couldn’t imagine standing around in the sun for all that time so I bring a portable living room with me to keep it comfy and tailgate right.
Folding Tables:
Folding tables are great for setting up your food stuff. I set up everything so we can eat up until we go into the park. We also set up the TV so we can watch the pregame.
Outdoor Chairs:
My outdoor chairs are comfy and can withstand the elements. When you’re a sports nut like me, you need a chair that can stand up against a windstorm or a couple of tosses when we lose. I always have a couple extra on hand in case anyone wants to join our party. The more the merrier!
My friends and I use outdoor recliners. Outdoor recliners run a little more, but are worth every penny and really add to the game-day experience
Tents & Shade:
Tents & shade are key in the success of any tailgate party. I have found that tailgating for 3 to 4 hours pregame in the sun wipes me out by game time. This is why I set up a tent when I pregame, but a large umbrella can work too.
